Supporting education in South Africa
One of VX Fiber’s most impactful community initiatives is taking place in South Africa, a key market for the company. Since 2018, VX Fiber, together with local partners, has been actively supporting public schools by providing free fiber connectivity and donating essential digital equipment. To date, 329 schools have been connected, transforming traditional classrooms into digital learning environments where students can thrive, learn, and imagine new possibilities for their futures.
In 2024 alone, VX Fiber connected 7 additional schools and donated 8 computers, further reinforcing our commitment to narrowing the digital divide. These efforts are about more than just cables and screens, they are about opening doors, igniting curiosity, and empowering the next generation to succeed in a digitally driven world.
