Empowering communities through connectivity and commitment
At VX Fiber, community engagement is more than a value, it is a commitment in practice. From investing in digital infrastructure to supporting local initiatives like Blodomloppet, we actively contribute to the well-being of the communities where we operate.
At VX Fiber, we believe that access to digital infrastructure is more than a technical service—it’s a gateway to education, healthcare, innovation, and economic development. As a global fiber operator, we see it as our responsibility to ensure that the benefits of digitalization reach everyone, especially underserved or overlooked communities.
But our commitment doesn’t stop at laying fiber in the ground. Community engagement is a vital part of who we are. For us, it’s about people. It’s about inclusion, opportunity, and creating the conditions for individuals and communities to thrive—not just online, but in their everyday lives.
One of the most visible expressions of this spirit can be seen in Umeå, where our local VX Fiber team has actively participated in Blodomloppet since 2017. Blodomloppet is a nationwide race and awareness campaign that encourages people to donate blood and highlights the importance of giving back. Every year, our colleagues lace up their shoes, put on their matching t-shirts, and run side by side—not only to support a vital public cause, but also to strengthen the ties between us as co-workers and with our local community.
Participating in Blodomloppet is more than a physical challenge. It’s a celebration of teamwork, solidarity, and health. It’s a way for us to show, in a very practical and personal way, what it means to be part of something bigger—both as a company and as individuals.
At VX Fiber, we see our employees as ambassadors of our values. Their engagement—whether it’s on a race track, in a classroom, or at a community event—reflects the deeper purpose that drives our business: to empower and connect.
Together with our partners, stakeholders, and the communities we serve, we’re not just building fiber networks. We’re building futures. One connection at a time.
